What a delightful gem in the heart of the Windermere business district. Almost missed it as the town is fairly tiny and quaint. Lively crowd for a Saturday morning but not too long a wait for a table. Strong coffee, lots of options and some unique takes on breakfast options. Their busicuits are really flaky and tasty, and worst the visit alone. Overall, lovely and cheerful staff and a great place to grab a bite. Casey took care of us so be sure to ask for her!
I came here last week for brunch and to sum up my experience in one word, it was AMAZING! All of the food and drinks were homemade and delicious. First we ordered the beet goes on and kaleing me softy juices and they were so refreshing in this hot Florida weather! The eggs Benedict and bananas foster French toast were both delicious and the portion size was great. The unexpected star of the show was the quiche. It was hot and practically melted in your mouth! The service was also outstanding. All of our food came out in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly. Can’t wait to come back and eat here again!
Came here for a late breakfast on a Sunday. Small wait, we were seated after 15 minutes. Service was quick and courteous. Food was great, especially the fries! Burger was cooked well. Daughter enjoyed her vanilla battered French toast and son loves his chocolate chip pancakes. Also the prices are great - will definitely be back!
Kate brought us to our table and was lovely . Easy to order, food was very good. Parking out the back is huge. Definitely will return to eat more delicious food!!
We visited Dixie Cream Café on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. It’s a charming spot with a welcoming atmosphere, both inside and out. We requested to sit outside, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate our group of six—my wife, our four children, and myself. The food was exceptional—easily one of the best meals I’ve had during our vacation in Florida. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. A true hidden gem. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
Came here for brunch on a Saturday. Minimal wait, we were seated after 5 minutes. Jonna was our service & she was very attentive! Food was great! French toast, eggs Benedict and omelet were all great & the biscuits served on the side are to die for. Definitely gives the local vibe. Outdoor seating was a huge plus. Will definitely be back!
Got there 5 minutes before closing and they went out of their way to still serve us. We had the banana cheesecake and it was amazing. All employees were smiling and helpful, what a cool place! Iced lattes were perfect. Someone that appeared to be the owner was especially inviting (cool Eiffel Tower blouse!). The cinnamon roll was great too.
Service was good and the food was delicious. Reasonable prices. The crispy chicken with sausage gravy and grits and a side of potatoes was amazing. Eggs Benedict delicious also. My compliments to the Chef. Party of 2 with drinks 46 and change.
